This is a practical course covering basic communication for general purposes.
Students will speak Spanish from the first day.
The course is based on interactive task-oriented activities and in the practice of the four skills that will be useful in real-life situations.

Course Content
Students learn and practice the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking in Spanish. The skills cover a range of basic situational contexts dealing with basic activities like asking for and following directions, understanding how to tell the time, describing people and places, talking about your interests and activities, expressing likes and dislikes, etc.
Learning outcomes
Students learn to express opinions, physical sensations, feelings, and needs in a simple and effective way. Students will be able to read brief letters and texts related to daily life. By the end of the In Spanish® Beginners 1 course students should be able to use basic Spanish vocabulary and structures in simple everyday situations.
Requirements
No previous knowledge of the Spanish language is needed.
In Spanish® Beginners 2
This is a practical course in basic Spanish communication for general, social and vocational purposes. The course offers a wealth of communicative activities to practice the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking in Spanish.

Course Content
Students develop their practical language skills by learning and practicing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in a broad range of everyday contexts. Reading for pleasure sections are included in each unit of the book.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the In Spanish® Beginners 2 course, you will be able to hold an elementary conversation about daily life and you will
have developed further your listening, reading, and writing skills.
